After the holidays, remove all decorations from your Christmas tree and bring it to Grant Park so it can be recycled.  This is a one day only opportunity to recycle your tree.  The Conservancy is partnering, once again, with the statewide - Bring One for the Chipper - program.  9am till 4pm only. 

You can receive a dogwood or green ash sapling when recylcing your tree.  We only have 150 saplings (75 dogwood/75 green ash) to give away, so plan to come early.

Enter the park at Berne Street and Park Avenue - follow the signs.

Allstate Insurance sponsors "Give Back Day" as part of its celebration of the Martin Luther King Holiday.  Volunteers will join the Conservancy on Monday, January 19 to work in the park - mulching, planting, weeding, and more.  Anyone is welcome.  Meet on the traffic circle adjacent to the Cyclorama.

SAVE the DATE.  Monday, January 26, 2009.  Got the winter blues?  Come have some fun with us as we celebrate the birthday of historic L.P. Grant Park with a designer cake auction and party.  Top pastry chefs, bakers, and restaurants from across the city will compete for a cause with proceeds benefitting the Grant Park Cosnervancy.  Judges include:  Tony Brewer of Tony Brewer & Company Special Event Planning & Design, Jessica Dauler of Q100s "Jessica Shops" segment and JessicaShops.com, and Bryan "Beau" Grant, Board Member of the Grant Park Conservancy. 

Food, cash bar, cake tasting, auction items, and more.  Due to space limitations an RSVP is strongly advised to rsvp@360Media.net

The event will be held at LIT Kitchen, 433c Bishop Street, Atlanta 30318 - A great place to have the party because of its gallery-style vibe and perfect set-up for showcasing edible works of art.
