Volunteers from the Centers for Disease Control PRAMS Team www.cdc.gov/prams/   join the Conservancy in celebrating Arbor Day in Georgia and in Grant Park with tree plantings and various activities.  The group will gather at 10 a.m. on the traffic circle adjacent to the Atlanta Cyclorama (mapquest: 800 Cherokee Ave, Atlanta 30315).  Advance sign up is required to help us plan for tools, work gloves and materials.

What should you wear?  Well, dress for weather and temperature conditions.  In cool weather it is best to dress in layers and in clothing that you don't mind getting a bit dirty.  Please no open toe shoes. 

Volunteers from Turner  join the Conservancy in celebrating Arbor Day in Georgia and in Grant Park with tree, shrub and blooming perennial plantings.  The group will gather at 1 p.m. on the traffic circle adjacent to the Atlanta Cyclorama (mapquest: 800 Cherokee Ave, Atlanta 30315).  Advance sign up is required to help us plan for tools, work gloves and materials.

There are two large parking areas in the park.  The mapquest address above will bring you to the west side of the park.  There is ample parking there.

On the east side of the park, there is another large parking area off of Boulevard.  If you park in this lot, walk to the bottom of the hill and follow the stone pathway to the bottom of the hill to reach the traffic circle.
