The 5K Run for the Park benefits the Grant Park Conservancy
It all starts with the Adams Realtors 5K Run for the Park. This kick off event for the Grant Park Summer Shade Festival also celebrates its 6th anniversary in 2008. Runners, walkers, joggers, strollers, etc. can register at Adams Realtors (404-688-1222) or on line at www.active.com Sign-in and registration opens at 7:00 a.m. on the day of the race. The race starts at 8:00 a.m. Come out and enjoy the Run, then come back for the 6th Annual Grant Park Summer Shade Festival, Saturday and Sunday (Aug 30 & 31) opening at 11:00 a.m. each day.
