As we look ahead to 2010, there are a number of items we need to help us in our work. You can help by donating items or passing this information to others. The list is updated regularly. Here are a few items we can certainly use.
6-8 Two Way Radios-Motorola CP200 16 Channel 4 Watt When working with groups in the park the logistics are sometimes difficult when tasks are scattered. Two Way radios can help us be more efficient as we move tools and people.
Aerator Soil compaction is one of our greatest challenges. It weakens trees, causes excessive run-off, loss of top soil, etc. Routine aeration of the soil can help maintain the overall health of the turf.
Utility Cart You may have seen our golf cart in and around the park. Our friends at Six Feet Under donated the cart to us several years ago. It has been a wonderful asset. A utility cart with flat bed will help us move tools, equipment and heavy materials around the park. Our passenger cart is not designed to do this.
