Grant Park Conservancy is pleased to announce the arrival of Carla, a Deodar cedar, to Grant Park. Carla, named for Atlanta City Council Representative and Grant Park Conservancy Board member, Carla Smith, is 45 feet tall and weighs in at a slim and chic 4500 pounds. Carla was donated by an anonymous benefactor and moved to Grant Park last week. She will be lovingly cared for with water, nutrition, pruning, insect control and mulch over the next year to ensure she thrives in her new home.
