Grant Park is in the Southeast quadrant of the city and is the centerpiece of the largest historic district in Atlanta. Established in 1883 through a gift of 100 acres, the park is one mile from world famous Peachtree Street, the Gold Dome of the State Capitol, Turner Field (formerly Olympic Stadium) and interstates I-75/85 and I-20.
